HEARTSAVER CPR AED

This course focuses on what you need to know to perform high quality CPR and use and AED effectively, as well as learn how to respond to choking emergencies. Couse content and outcomes include:

• How high quality CPR improves outcomes
• The concepts of the Chain of Survival
• Recognizing when someone needs CPR
• Perform high quality CPR for an adult
• How to perform CPR with the help of others
• Give effective breaths using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for adults only
• How to use an AED on an adult
• When and how to help a choking adult

Intended audience: This course is for the general public or workers that are not required to have a BLS certificate but still want to be prepared for adult only emergencies (ie: office/administrative staff, personal trainers, etc..)
